Bondi Apartments

The original art deco masonry apartment complex had good bones, and this project sought to achieve a new contemporary apartment building while celebrating the original character. A total internal stripout left nothing but the exterior walls and the existing floor structure, and a new apartment configuration was installed throughout the building to achieve not just a newly compliant building but also a simple, beautiful interior that is suited to this great location. This project required significant input from the whole project team to ensure the final building was compliant and retained the existing fabric where possible. We are very happy to see this project completed, and for new life to be given to this classic building.
